In which scenarios should low-light headlights be used?

Low-light headlights are specifically designed to improve visibility in adverse weather conditions such as fog, rain, or snow. When these conditions are present, regular high-beam headlights can create glare, making it difficult to see. Low-light headlights help illuminate the road without causing excessive brightness that can reflect off the precipitation or fog, thus enhancing overall safety. Using low-light headlights in these conditions allows for better illumination of the road immediately in front of the vehicle, which is crucial for navigating safely.

In contrast, using low-light headlights during bright sunny days would be unnecessary as the sunlight provides ample visibility.
